The bathroom has a special layout and a unique microclimate. Everyone who renovates this room is faced with the problem of which material to choose for wall and floor decoration.

Both porcelain and ceramic tiles are two of the best finishing materials for the bathroom.

Some of the most important criteria to take into account when choosing a bathroom tile are the following: bathroom floor tiles should have a non-slip surface to reduce the risk of falls and injury; for small bathrooms, it is better to choose tiles of a small format, and vice versa; bathroom tiles must have a high level of resistance to household chemicals, this is necessary so that when cleaning the tiles from limescale and mildew (which may appear due to high humidity) using aggressive cleaning agents, the tile surface does not crack, change colour or lose its gloss. And one final criterion is lighting: if there is insufficient lighting in the bathroom, you can correct the problem by choosing glossy, light and grey marble tiles.

Certain colour combinations and patterned bathroom tiles give different visual effects: a dark ceiling together with light bathroom walls and floor tiles will make the room appear lower than it really is. A combination of black and white bathroom floor tiles in turn will “stretch” space.

Bathroom tiles in various sizes, colours & materials at affordable prices are available in ESB Flooring, in our North London showroom. Find what you need with our range of floor and wall bathroom tiles, and take home free samples for complete peace of mind.
